The roofs and track projects passed referendum on Election Day.?
Voters were asked whether the town should approve bonding for a??$3.615 Million track, multi-use field and parking lot improvement project at the high school and?$3.2 Million for partial roof replacements at the Community Center and all three schools ($2.3 Million after federal reimbursement).?
The track project passed by a vote of 3,034 to 2,112.
"We're excited for the opportunity it presents for the community and the students," said Board of Education Chairwoman Beth Kandrysawtz.?
The roofs project passed 3,992 to 1,149.?
The town's?web site?contains many documents related to the projects.?
