Microsoft is attempting to recapture the public?s imagination after years in the doldrums by launching its own digital music service that will give free access to millions of songs, creating a significant new rival to the likes of Spotify and Apple.
The new service, which launches tomorrow and rolls out over the the coming weeks, will allow owners of Microsoft devices to listen to tens of millions of songs in a library expected to include everything from Rihanna to Mozart and Coldplay to the Rolling Stones.
